Protect Yourself From Recruiting Scams

Scammers sometimes pose as recruiters to collect money or personal information. ORecruits will never:

  • Charge you a fee of any kind
  • Ask for your Social Security number, bank or credit card details, or government ID
  • Conduct interviews by text message or through chat apps
  • Make a job offer. Offers come only from the hiring firm itself

ORecruits only contacts candidates from an @orecruits.com email address. If you receive a message claiming to be from ORecruits that doesn't match this, don't respond. You can confirm by writing to katherine@orecruits.com.
